Senior Instrument Reliability Engineer Location: Rosemount, MN Schedule: 9/80 with Turnaround support Salary: $130,000–$170,000 base, depending on experience Relocation: Available
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Instrument Reliability Engineer to provide strategic leadership for reliability initiatives at a large industrial manufacturing site. This is a highly visible role with significant ownership of reliability programs, asset management, and site-wide reliability strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Own and support the site's Mechanical Integrity Program.
Develop and implement equipment and reliability strategies.
Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations.
Establish and improve reliability standards, processes, and best practices.
Serve as a strategic reliability resource across engineering, maintenance, and operations.
Participate in industry groups and conferences to identify and implement best practices.
Support Turnaround activities and long-term asset reliability initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
Senior-level Instrument Reliability Engineer with significant industrial experience.
Background in refining, petrochemical, chemical, midstream, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
Experience with Mechanical Integrity Programs, RCFA, and reliability strategy development.
Proven ability to drive reliability improvements and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong program ownership and independent decision-making skills.
Refining experience strongly preferred.
