Job description
Calpine Corporation seeks an experienced IC&E Technician III to support safe, reliable operation of our natural gas-fired and geothermal power plants. In this field-based role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems that drive critical generation assets. Responsibilities include calibrating field instruments, supporting DCS/PLC operation, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and interpreting P&IDs and schematics. You’ll collaborate with operations and engineering teams, follow rigorous safety and environmental standards, and contribute to continuous improvement at a leading cleaner-energy power producer.
