We are working with a Louisiana based insurance defense Firm, looking for a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 8+ years of insurance defense experience. This role is remote.

Requirements:
8+ years of insurance defense experience
Extensive experience working in a premises liability, general liability environment
Commercial trucking experience is a plus
Admitted to practice law in the state of Louisiana
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies. xzgxqkn
Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings
The annual salary for this position is between 175k-225k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
