ZGF is seeking a bright and driven Senior Interior Designer with a passion for design excellence to join our team in Seattle, Washington. Our ideal candidate thrives on team and client leadership. You are a creative thinker that enjoys design ideation and problem solving to realize beautiful and innovative space.
nAs a Senior Interior Designer, you will…
nnnPossess a knowledge of all aspects of design, including programming, space planning, color and material research, FF&E, and lighting design.
n
nnCollaborate with and/or manage teams to generate and develop design concepts.
n
nnClearly communicate design concepts visually and verbally to teams and clients.
n
nnLead programming efforts and analysis.
n
nnKeenly understand design trends with a focus on workplace.
n
nnManage and mentor team members from concept design through construction administration.
n
nnAssist in developing fee proposals, project schedules, and design workplans.
n
nnMaintain and foster relationships with clients and consultants with sensitivity to project fees, budgets, schedules.
n
nnParticipate in business development activities and advise in marketing pursuits.
n
nnAdvocate for an inclusive, supportive work culture through listening, learning, and actions.
n
n nQualifications:
nnnA bachelor or higher degree in Interior Design or Architecture and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field. NCIDQ or AIA preferred.
n
nnExperience managing complex clients with multiple stakeholders.
n
nnExcellent team communication skills, design presentation, and storytelling skills.
n
nnCommunication, leadership, and organizational/managerial expertise.
n
nnProficient modeling with and leading projects in Revit and Enscape required.
n
nnProficient with the Adobe Creative Suite.
n
nnDemonstrated competency in programming and space planning.
n
nnExperience in large and small-scale projects across a diversity of industries.
n
nnProficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
n
nnStrong verbal and graphic communication skills.
n
nnExperience in workplace strategy and consulting is a plus.
n
nnLEED and/or WELL accreditation is a plus.
n
n nBase Salary Range
n$122,000/yr - $142,000/yr
