nJob Description
nAlbemarle is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. This position is hybrid (3-days per week in office) and located in Charlotte, NC.
nWhat You Will Do
nAudit Participation:
nnnParticipate in all phases of operational, financial, compliance IT, and strategic audits, including planning, scheduling, execution of testing, summarization of results, report preparation, presentation of results to management and follow-up with stakeholders on remediation efforts.

nnParticipate in the testing of the Company's SOX program.
n
n nStakeholder Management:
nnnWork collaboratively with team members, third-party co-sourced partners, key stakeholders, and management on audit engagements.
n
nnBuild and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, fostering a culture of engagement and adding value.
n
n nIssue Identification and Escalation:
nnIdentify and escalate significant audit issues, collaborating with managers to develop remediation plans.
n nData Analysis:
nnAnalyze data to identify trends, variances, inconsistencies, and internal control risks.
n nSpecial Projects:
nnAssist managers with special projects, which may include process or control redesign, fraud analysis, system implementation consultation, investigation of potential non-compliance, and other business initiatives.
n nWhat You Bring
nRequired:
nnnBA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or another related field
n
nnCPA, CIA, CISA, CFE or other related financial certification (or willingness to obtain certification within 12 months)
n
nnMinimum 2-4 years of Big Four audit or relevant experience
n
nnDetailed understanding of SOX requirements, IT general controls, and IT application controls
n
nnKnowledge of COSO, COBIT, and the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditors; familiarity with the Institute of Internal Auditors' Code of Ethics and Practice Advisories for Assurance and Consulting Services.
n
nnAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and work simultaneously on multiple projects with varying deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail

nnExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work and collaborate within a team environment and build relationships throughout the organization
n
nnAbility to collaborate with remote teams
n
nnPositive and "can do" attitude
n
nnAbility to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, and organized manner
n
nnListens to others to respond effectively to ideas and questions
n
n nPreferred:
nnnMaster's degree in business, Data Analysis, Accounting, or related field
n
nnMining, internal or external accounting, chemical, or manufacturing industry experience
n
nnWorking experience with AuditBoard, PowerBI, Tableau, IDEA, SQL, CAAT, or other data analysis programs
n
n nTravel:
nnnApproximately 20-25% (domestic and/or international)
n
nnThis role requires travel to company sites
