The role aligns stakeholders, prioritizes platform initiatives, and ensures the USP reduces IT/OT cyber risk while supporting enterprise objectives through strategic leadership and platform governance.

Job Duties

Define and maintain the long-term vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the USP, aligned to enterprise cybersecurity objectives and OT risk reduction priorities.

Position the USP as the central control plane for IT/OT cybersecurity capabilities and platform-enabled risk mitigation.

Ensure roadmap initiatives map directly to cybersecurity capability gaps and maturity targets with measurable risk reduction outcomes.

Own the economic and investment model for the platform, balancing run vs. grow vs. transformation investments.

Guide near-term prioritization of delivery team activities to ensure alignment with platform strategy, roadmap sequencing, and risk reduction objectives.

Translate strategic roadmap intent into clearly defined, prioritized outcomes and sequencing guidance for delivery teams.

Partner with engineering, architecture, delivery leads, and managed service teams to ensure backlog priorities reflect risk reduction impact and capability maturity progression.

MVP, Pilot, and Execution Enablement

Drive definition and orchestration of the USP minimum viable product (MVP) and pilot deployment phases.

Identify dependencies, sequencing constraints, and cross-functional execution risks.

Surface and resolve critical decision points required to maintain forward momentum of platform rollout

Value-Based Prioritization & Trade-off Optimization

Prioritize platform initiatives using value-based methods (WSJF, OKRs, outcome-driven prioritization).

Lead structured tradeoff discussions across cybersecurity, architecture, IT infrastructure, OT, and business stakeholders.

Ensure prioritization decisions are transparent, defensible, and tied to measurable outcomes.

Stakeholder Alignment Across the Operating Model

Align stakeholders across central platform operations, field connectivity & site enablement teams, and Corporate OT and site operations.

Act as the primary USP representative in portfolio planning, roadmap reviews, and cross-functional alignment forums.

Governance, Partner Management, and Operating Model Integration

Represent the USP in governance forums (e.g., steering committee, architecture and risk review boards)

Manage and coordinate with Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS MSP), Managed Detection and Response (MDR MSSP) Business Partners, and leaders to ensure platform sustainability and service quality.

Outcome Measurement & Continuous Improvement

Define and own platform-level OKRs and KPIs tied to security outcomes, risk reduction, capability maturity improvement, platform adoption and utilization, and cost-to-serve.

Track and communicate value realization from USP investments.

Success in the First 12 Months

Clearly articulated USP vision and multi-year roadmap.

Experience
