Senior Java/JEE Developer (WebSphere, JPA/Hibernate, JMS, EJB, JDK 1.8+, Criminal Justice Systems)
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Qualifications
Proven experience leading iterative development teams through the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, and integration of complex JEE-based systems leveraging data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Hands‑on experience developing and deploying enterprise applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.0 or higher and IBM WebSphere Portal Server 7.0 or higher.
Strong proficiency in building applications using JPA and/or Hibernate frameworks with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
Experience developing enterprise‑level solutions utilizing JMS, EJB, IBM MQ 6.0 or higher, XML, JAXB, and JAX-WS.
Skilled in developing Java applications using JDK 1.8 or higher.
Proficient in front‑end development with JavaServer Faces (JSF) and JavaServer Pages (JSP).
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and integrating systems supporting criminal justice processing at the state or federal level – including, but not limited to, disposition processing, fingerprint identification, criminal history management, sex offender tracking, wanted/missing persons tracking, and offender supervision initiatives.
