Job description
We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to help design, build, and support scalable enterprise applications with a strong focus on Core Java, Spring Boot microservices, and database development. This role offers the opportunity to work on cloud-ready solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to modernization and CI/CD initiatives.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot microservices. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and support integrations with internal and external systems. Translate business needs into practical technical solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders. Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to promote strong engineering practices. Investigate and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues in enterprise applications. Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile environment. Contribute to CI/CD efforts and application modernization initiatives.
Skills
7+ years of hands-on Java development experience. Strong knowledge of Core Java, including OOP concepts, collections, multithreading, concurrency, exception handling, and JVM fundamentals. Experience with Java 8+ features such as streams, lambda expressions, and functional programming concepts. Proven experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud. Solid background in microservices architecture and REST API design. Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. Ability to write and tune SQL, support schema design, and optimize queries and stored procedures. Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, or Azure Key Vault. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus. Familiarity with API gateways, event-driven architecture, and distributed system resiliency patterns. Experience implementing security best practices, including OAuth and JWT authentication. Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
