Senior Java Software Engineer – Active Secret Clearance
Multiple Openings | 5 days Onsite in the Boston Area | Long-Term W-2 Contract with Benefits Available & Potential for Permanent Hire
W-2 ONLY — No C2C, third-party, or subcontractor candidates.

We are seeking multiple experienced Java Full Stack Software Engineers to join a growing team developing mission-critical cybersecurity applications . These positions offer the opportunity to work on complex enterprise software products in a collaborative engineering environment supporting highly secure systems.
This is a Java-focused full-stack development role . We are particularly interested in engineers with strong back-end Java experience who also have exposure to modern front-end technologies, databases, APIs, and enterprise application frameworks.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, develop, enhance, and troubleshoot enterprise Java applications
Develop both back-end services and user-facing application functionality
Work with relational databases and data-driven applications
Build and integrate REST-based services and interfaces
Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, and deployment
Collaborate with software engineers and other technical team members in an Agile environment
Help solve complex technical problems involving secure, mission-critical applications
Take ownership of assigned development work and contribute to technical decisions
Required Qualifications
Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of hire
Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience
3+ years of professional software development experience with Java / Enterprise Java
Highly Desired Experience
We do not expect candidates to have every skill listed below. Strong Java developers with experience in several of these areas are encouraged to apply.
Spring framework
Hibernate
SQL and/or PostgreSQL
REST APIs
WildFly or similar Java application servers
Material UI
Additional experience with secure application development, PKI/digital certificates, RESTCONF, or SNMP is a plus.
Multiple openings
Location: Greater Boston area
Schedule: Must be willing to work 5 days/week onsite.

Active DoD Secret clearance is required at the time of hire
