Overview

The Tactical Software and Autonomy Solutions (TSAS) team ati3supports DoD customers in developing cutting-edge autonomy software architectures to distribute autonomous control across a diverse assortment of uncrewed air, ground, surface, and subsurface platforms.The teamis seeking aseniorlevel full-stack software engineerwith 10+ years of experienceto supportaweb-basedvirtualdevelopment andsimulation environment.This is a new project leveraging a modern tech stack of ASP.NET Core, React, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

The candidate will work withor leadanAgile software developmentteam delivering value to a DoD customerin small, incrementaliterations.

The candidate will be responsible fordeveloping both the user interface (UI) and backend of a large web application.

Candidate will develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies.

Candidate will developautomatedunit and integration level tests.

Routine collaboration with team members in developing system capabilitiesis expected.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Required skills:

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

10+ years of relevant experience.

Have aBachelor of Sciencedegree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences.

Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn.

Candidatemustbe familiar with good configuration management practices and will be responsible for proper code maintenance, merging, and configuration management.

Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance or higher.

Position Location:In officeinHuntsville, AL

CONUS Travel required: Less than 10%

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Experience withC#, JavaScript,and TypeScript.

Experience with HTML and CSS styling.

Experience with web tools and frameworks such as ASP.NET, React, Tailwind, Vite, and NextJS.

Prefer understanding ofagile software development, ideally Extreme Programming(XP).

Familiarity setting up andmanaging CI/CD infrastructure withing GitLab.

Experience with Linux is a plus.

Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)toolssuch asTerraform orCloudFormation.

Experience with virtualization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience developing software withingovernment IL2/IL4 environments is preferred.

Any DoDD8140/8570 certificates arebeneficial.

Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of office administration and procedures.

Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus.

Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however,additionalhours may berequiredon occasion. Regular and punctual attendance isrequired.
