Job description
Mercury is building Command, an LLM-powered financial assistant, and seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design end-to-end capabilities—from system prompts to frontend rendering. You will craft domain-specific instruction sets for workflows like payments and invoices, and shape tool schemas with backend teams for reliable, scalable integration.
You will also own the LLM layer, tuning prompt architecture, performance, and model behavior, while evolving the product with new capabilities.
