Senior Machine Operator - 2nd ShiftUnited Rotary Brush is an Olathe, Kansas based manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction, street sweeping and plow industries. Our Olathe, KS, manufacturing facility (I-35 & Old 56 Hwy) is looking for Senior Machine Operator for 2nd shift to work Monday thru Thursday 4:20 pm to 2:50 am. Those that desire to help drive a safe, quality focused, production environment will thrive at United Rotary Brush Corporation.Sr. Machine Operator - 2nd Shift2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 4:20 pm to 2:50 amJob SummaryParticipate in line setup and production of high-volume brushes and brooms. Ensure machines are operating effectively and efficiently and that production needs are met through daily production efforts. Operate machines and perform light to medium trouble shooting diagnostics, maintenance, and cleaning. Perform work that is within safety and quality guidelines.Duties And Essential Job FunctionsProduce product to quality specifications at required rates of production.Make certain that machines utilized are operating effectively and efficiently; efficiently troubleshoot and execute required light to medium maintenance and escalate to supervisor and/or maintenance when maintenance requirements exceed training/ responsibility level for the machine.Use correct packaging materials for product being produced and pack correct quantities per work order.Properly label product in a manner that shows pride and quality in workmanship.Correctly record production information on work orders, process sheets and other paperwork and turn it in at end of shift in a timely manner.Correctly complete Hold Tags if product does not meet quality standards and ensure product is moved to hold area.Clean and maintain equipment in work area during and at the end of each shift.Adhere to safety procedures in all actions.Ability and judgement to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees.Regular attendance and the ability to be at work regularly and on time is an essential function.Adhere to all company policies.QualificationsMinimum RequiredRequires a high school diploma or its equivalentRequires 2-3 years CNC manufacturing experience.5 years machine manufacturing experience a plus.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.Problem identification and solving skills.Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.Keen attention to detail.EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
