Job description
Job Summary: The Senior Management Analyst provides critical support to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by assisting with mission assurance, force health protection, and continuity planning efforts. The role involves conducting risk assessments, identifying critical infrastructure and assets, and supporting incident response and crisis management activities. The analyst collaborates with military and government organizations to evaluate vulnerabilities, maintain mission impact data, and develop reports and briefings for leadership. This position requires an active Secret security clearance and the ability to handle classified information up to the TS/SCI level. The role is onsite in Falls Church, VA
Responsibilities
Support DHA Mission Assurance, Force Health Protection, Readiness, and Law Enforcement activities.
Identify and assess critical infrastructure, Defense Critical Assets (DCAs), and Task Critical Assets (TCAs).
Assist with risk assessments, risk management packages, and Joint Mission Assurance Assessments (JMAAs).
Identify mission risks, vulnerabilities, dependencies, and potential impacts.
Maintain and update critical asset data, annual TCA lists, and mission impact information.
Support Mission Assurance systems such as CADAT, MAADS, and the Global Mission Assurance Portal.
Assist with Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans and Business Impact Analyses (BIAs).
Support incident response, crisis management, emergency planning, and related exercises.
Coordinate with DHA, military health systems, Combatant Commands, military services, and other DoD organizations.
Prepare reports, assessments, briefings, and recommendations for leadership.
Support Mission Assurance education, outreach activities, working groups, and training initiatives.
Perform other duties as required based on contract needs.
Qualifications
Active Secret security clearance; ability to support classified systems up to TS/SCI level.
Knowledge of Mission Assurance principles, risk management strategies, continuity planning, or related DoD programs.
Strong analytical skills with experience in risk assessment and infrastructure protection.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for briefings and reports.
Ability to coordinate effectively with government personnel at various levels.
Experience handling sensitive or classified information securely.
Proven ability to maintain accurate program data related to mission assurance activities.
