Job description
Base Salary: $100,000–$120,000 + uncapped commission and team performance incentives

Our New York office has an established Contract Recruitment team, and we’re now looking for an experienced recruitment leader to take ownership of the function and help drive its next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on, player-coach leadership role. You’ll lead and develop an established team of recruiters while remaining commercially active yourself, particularly across business development, senior client relationships and key accounts.
The Opportunity
You’ll take responsibility for a 10-person Contract Recruitment team, working closely with Kirsty, our New York Director, to drive performance, develop our people and grow our presence across the U.S. Data & AI market.
You’ll be expected to lead from the front. While people leadership will be a major part of the role, you’ll also remain close to the market, building relationships with senior clients, identifying new opportunities and contributing directly to revenue generation.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leading, coaching and developing an established team of Contract recruiters
Driving new business development and building senior-level client relationships
Growing existing accounts and identifying new commercial opportunities
Remaining personally involved in recruitment, with a particular focus on the client side
Setting clear performance expectations and driving accountability across the team
Running structured 1:1s, pipeline reviews and development conversations
Supporting recruiters at different levels to improve their commercial performance and progress their careers
Working closely with our New York Director on team strategy, headcount and market growth

Who We’re Looking For
An experienced agency recruiter with a strong track record in Contract recruitment
Proven experience managing and developing recruitment teams
Someone who has remained commercially active alongside their leadership responsibilities
A strong business developer who is comfortable winning new clients and growing strategic accounts
Experience recruiting within Data, AI, Technology or another specialist technical market
A confident people leader who can coach both experienced recruiters and developing consultants
Someone who thrives in a commercial, fast-paced environment and is motivated by building high-performing teams
