Lead commercial negotiations for limited notices to proceed, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, consulting agreements, service contracts, and supporting exhibits

Partner with Legal, Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and other stakeholders to align contract terms with project scope, schedule, technical requirements, and risk objectives

Evaluate contractor capabilities, financial strength, safety performance, execution history, and project capacity

Build and maintain productive relationships with leading EPC contractors

Monitor contractor availability, pricing trends, labor constraints, supply-chain conditions, and other market developments

Advise project teams on EPC schedules, procurement milestones, long-lead requirements, and execution risks

Improve procurement processes, evaluation tools, templates, and contracting practices

Mentor and support junior team members

What you'll bring

Five or more years of experience in procurement, contracts, commercial management, or project delivery

Three or more years of experience involving utility-scale renewable energy, power generation, energy storage, or comparable power-infrastructure projects

Experience supporting or leading EPC procurement and complex commercial negotiations for large capital projects

Experience developing RFPs, evaluating proposals, levelizing bids, and preparing award recommendations

Strong understanding of EPC contracting, including pricing, scope, schedule, performance obligations, risk allocation, change management, warranties, and remedies

Strong commercial judgment and the ability to evaluate technical, financial, contractual, schedule, and execution risks

Ability to influence decisions and build alignment across multidisciplinary teams

A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Business-fluent English

Willingness to travel up to 30%

Preferred qualifications

Direct experience negotiating EPC agreements for utility-scale solar PV or BESS projects

Experience working for a renewable-energy developer, independent power producer, EPC contractor, utility, or power-infrastructure organization
