Job Overview:
7-Eleven is seeking a Senior Manager, Gulp Media Network Sales to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen the go-to-market strategy for Gulp Media Network (GMN), 7-Eleven's retail media network. This role will lead consultative, omnichannel media sales across endemic and select non-endemic advertisers, translating client objectives into compelling media solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
The Senior Manager will partner closely with GMN leadership, Sales Strategy & Enablement, C-Shopper/Measurement, Account Management, Ad Operations, Finance, Legal, and 7-Eleven marketing and merchant teams. The role will be accountable for building strategic client relationships, advancing the sales pipeline, supporting annual and joint business planning, improving sales discipline, and helping GMN scale through a clear, insight-led selling model.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute sales strategies that support GMN revenue targets across programmatic, social, Gulp Radio, Gulp TV, CRM/email, Digital Menu Boards, POP, Monthly Perks, and other emerging solutions.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline through proactive prospecting, account expansion, agency engagement, and new-business development.
Lead revenue pacing, forecasting, and gap-closing plans; identify risks and opportunities and communicate recommended actions to GMN leadership.
Use client objectives, category dynamics, historical performance, and market feedback to shape differentiated sales strategies and investment recommendations.
Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, campaign, and revenue data in Vendor Fusion and related sales trackers.
Client, Agency & Vendor Leadership
Serve as a senior sales contact for CPG brands, agencies, and strategic partners, building trusted relationships that lead to sustained GMN investment.
Lead discovery, solution development, pitch preparation, negotiations, and close activities for complex or high-priority opportunities.
Translate advertiser goals into integrated media plans, audience recommendations, channel mixes, and measurement approaches.
Present GMN's value proposition, including 7-Eleven's first-party shopper data, purchase-based audiences, omnichannel reach, and closed-loop measurement capabilities.
Establish a disciplined approach to client follow-up, feedback capture, renewal planning, and upsell opportunities.
Annual Planning & Joint Business Planning
Support and lead portions of annual planning and joint business planning with strategic vendors and agency partners.
Develop investment recommendations by sales period and channel, using vendor priorities, historical results, promotional calendars, and GMN growth opportunities.
