Job description

Lead the design, development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, systems, tooling, and equipment.

Identify and execute strategic initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, lead time, and overall operational performance.

Serve as the technical lead for manufacturing process development on new product launches, major engineering changes, and capacity expansion projects.

Develop manufacturing strategies that support business growth while maintaining high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

Lead cross-functional teams in structured problem-solving activities using root cause analysis, A3 thinking, DMAIC, and other proven methodologies.

Evaluate, justify, and implement capital equipment and process improvement through ROI analysis and disciplined project management.

Establish and maintain manufacturing standards, work instructions, process documentation, PFMEAs, control plans, and assembly element details.

Provide technical mentorship and coaching to Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Technicians, Supervisors, and Production personnel.

Lead value stream improvement activities and support strategy deployment initiatives aligned with company objectives.

Collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and cost optimization of new and existing products.

Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, develop corrective actions, and improve equipment and labor effectiveness.

Effectively facilitate Suggested Engineering Changes and Engineering Change Notices, ensuring timely implementation and minimal operational disruption.

Partner with Supply Chain and Quality teams to resolve supplier, process, and product quality concerns.

Research and evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies, automation solutions, and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage.

Support daily production operations by providing hands-on technical leadership and rapid resolution of manufacturing issues.
