We’re Hiring: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer ready to lead technical innovation and develop high-performing engineering teams?
Aerostar Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introductions, manufacturing process development, customer Design Quality Reviews (DQRs), and continuous improvement initiatives while managing and mentoring a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
What You’ll Do
Lead manufacturing process development from concept through production launch
Represent Aerostar during customer Design Quality Review (DQR) meetings
Drive APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, GD&T, Control Plans, and manufacturing readiness activities
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Program Management, and customers to ensure successful product launches
Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies
Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians
What We’re Looking For
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
3+ years of engineering leadership or supervisory experience
Strong expertise in APQP, PPAP, GD&T, PFMEA, Control Plans, Lean Manufacturing, and manufacturing process development
Experience supporting OEM and Tier 1 automotive customers
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
