Senior Marketing Communications Manager
The Senior Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for owning how Parsec tells its story. This role turns our brand vision and product offering into a clear, compelling narrative across campaigns, events, and sales conversations, and serves as the strongest writer on our team. It is a hands on role that combines strategic direction with hands-on writing.

Responsibilities:
Narrative & Messaging: Refine and maintain Parsec's messaging house, including core narrative, value propositions, and persona-specific messaging for districts, charters, and county offices. Serve as lead copywriter across web, email, ads, decks, and event materials.
Voice of the Customer: Interview partners and pull stories from sales and customer success calls to understand how Parsec fits customer needs. Turn partner wins into case studies and proof points.
Product Messaging & Sales Enablement: Align with Product, Sales, and Marketing to position and launch new offerings, and equip Sales with pitch narratives, talk tracks, and objection handling.
Thought Leadership & Editorial: Own the editorial calendar across podcast, webinars, blog, email, and social. Oversee executive content strategy and secure earned media and speaking opportunities.
Events & Summit 2027: Set strategy and messaging for remaining 2026 events and Summit 2027, partnering with the marketing team and event contractors on execution.
Partner Co-Marketing: Build joint content and visibility with strategic partners such as ACSA, CCEE, and county offices of education.
Measurement & Impact: Tie communications work to pipeline performance, conversion rates, and win rate, and refine messaging based on performance data.
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree: Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
7+ Years in Marketing Communications: Experience in marketing communications, content, or product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or EdTech.
Exceptional Writing and Editing: A portfolio that shows range, original thinking, and the ability to explain complex topics simply.
Messaging and Launch Experience: A track record of building messaging frameworks and supporting product launches.
People Leadership: Experience managing people
Strategic and Hands-On: Able to set direction and execute in a fast-paced environment, using AI tools to work faster and better.
K-12 or Public Sector Experience: A plus
Requirements:
Valid California driver's license.
Ability to travel for field events and conferences.

The expected range of pay for this position is $105,000 - $135,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications and experience. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits. Our Hiring Manager can share more information about the salary range specific to your working location and other factors during the hiring process.
