Job Title: Senior Material Handler / Warehouse Specialist
Location: San Diego, CA 92121 (100% Onsite)
Duration: (6 Months Contract)
Shift: 1st Shift (Mon–Fri | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Pay: $21/hr. on W2

Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Material Handler to support warehouse operations in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will assist with warehouse order picking, generate/fill material requests for various programs and external customers, and manage stocking, packing, and systematic inventory transactions. Hands-on forklift experience is strictly required for order picking and put-away efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Forklift Operations: Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, and order pickers for stocking, pulling, and inventory transfer.
Order Picking & Packing: Generate and fill material requests, pack, box devices, and handle shipping/receiving duties.
Systematic Inventory Control: Perform systematic inventory updates and transactions within automated warehouse management/computer systems with 100% accuracy.
Cross-Functional Support: Maintain inventory accuracy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while remaining focused under pressure.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a good driving record.
Forklift Experience (Mandatory): Hands-on experience operating forklifts and previous forklift certification/use of hand trucks and order pickers.
Warehouse Experience: 2–3 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, shipping, receiving, or inventory control.
Computer/ERP Skills: Proficient with warehouse/inventory software (experience with Oracle, AIMS, MRW, QPI, or Agile is highly preferred) along with MS Office.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for 8+ hours/day, manual dexterity, good eyesight, and ability to lift 25–50 lbs occasionally. xzgxqkn
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication, strong basic arithmetic skills, and ability to multi-task under pressure.
