Job description
Mercor is seeking a senior materials engineering expert to design benchmarks of the hardest reasoning questions in materials science rooted in real industry scenarios. You will author original, free-response problems and provide complete expert-level solutions.
You will validate difficulty by running the problems against three frontier language models until at least one fails, ensuring the challenges push AI evaluation to the limit and remain industry-relevant.
