Senior Automation Engineer / Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Dudley, MA | 100% Onsite
Full-Time | 40 hrs/week
6-Month Contract | Potential Temp-to-Perm
Start: ASAP
Pay: $60/hr on w2
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to lead automation and assembly projects from design through commissioning and production release.
Key Requirements:
BS in Engineering with 7+ years of experience
Strong PLC programming — Ladder Logic & Structured Text
HMI development and machine controls
6-axis robotics programming/integration
3D CAD / SOLIDWORKS
Electromechanical systems and automated assembly
Sensors, robotics, conveyors, and machine design
High-volume manufacturing experience
Strong troubleshooting and project management skills
Experience with Fanuc, Denso, or YuMi is a plus
Lean Six Sigma/SPC and machine vision experience is a plus
Industry experience in automation, robotics, manufacturing, optics, eyewear, medical devices, or consumer products is highly relevant.
