We’re expanding our Mechanical Engineering Department and are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who is ready to lead complex mining and mineral processing projects from concept through completion while mentoring a growing team.
Your Opportunity
This is more than a senior technical role — it’s an opportunity to lead.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership, guide project execution, mentor team members, and work directly with clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
What You’ll Do
Lead mechanical design projects from concept through detailed design and construction support
Prepare engineering plans, calculations, and construction documents
Develop technical specifications for equipment procurement and installation
Lead and mentor Designers and Engineers through all phases of project development
Coordinate with structural, electrical, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
Participate in internal and client project meetings and design reviews
Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
Support occasional site visits and client meetings (approximately 10% travel)
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (U.S.) required
10+ years of experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial projects
Experience working with engineering consulting firms, equipment vendors, or mining companies
Strong project management experience from concept through commissioning
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth
