Job description

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join the Submarine Core Design team. You will perform structural evaluations of complex components for the operating fleet using ABAQUS, in-house codes and hand calculations, with ownership of your analyses and broad interaction with stakeholders.

Requirements include a Bachelors with 6+ years, or a Masters with 4 years, or a Doctorate with 1 year in a related field; or current Senior Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or
