Position: Mechanical Engineer PE
Location: Seattle, WA (remote with travel)
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
PE (required for Sr.)
Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Experience preparing technical studies, reports, and correspondence.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience with energy modeling and building performance analysis.
Ability to develop accurate multi-discipline cost estimates.
Capability to interpret and apply engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
Job Description
Perform project design, analysis, and engineering calculations across a range of mechanical and civil engineering disciplines.
Prepare technical reports, field documentation, internal correspondence, and formal submissions under the project managers.
Review design documentation, identify errors, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide upgrade recommendations.
