Medical AssistantUnder general supervision of the LVN Supervisor, Site Manager and or Radiology Manager this position will assists physician/provider with all general medicine or specialized medical practice duties as a Medical Assistant within the scope of practice.As the limited X-ray Technician perform diagnostic x-rays within their licensure for patients of all ages and assumes responsibility for accuracy under the direction of the radiologist; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel. The limited x-ray technician is also responsible for all duties relating to the darkroom.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they're invaluable. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.Required Qualifications:Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.2 years Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.Preferred Qualifications:Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning) OrCoursework/Training Has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
