Job description
Billing SpecialistWe are seeking a Billing Specialist who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about improving healthcare behind the scenes. You'll ensure timely, accurate reimbursement and help patients access life-changing treatments without unnecessary financial stress.What You'll DoSubmit and manage claims for biologic infusions and other servicesPost payments, reconcile patient accounts, and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)Resolve denials and unpaid claims with precision and urgencyCollaborate cross-functionally with intake, clinical, and supervisory teamsCommunicate with insurance companies and patients—professionally and empatheticallyIdentify process gaps and help drive continuous improvementShare knowledge openly—no gatekeeping hereWhat You Bring5+ years of medical billing experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel)Working knowledge of EHR/EMR, clearinghouses, and payment workflowsUnderstanding of specialty billing and biologic reimbursementStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyA growth mindset—excited to learn and teachPreferred QualificationsExperience with infusion billing or AMD platformsCoding certifications (CPC, CCA, CCS, etc.)Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skillsFamiliarity with specialty pharmacy workflowsReady to Apply?If you're excited to be part of a team where billing is seen as patient care, where sharing knowledge is encouraged, and where your work helps people access critical therapies—apply today.
