Job description
UVA Community Health is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist Senior to perform quality control and complex patient testing across laboratory areas. The role requires maintaining competency, troubleshooting equipment, ensuring turnaround times, and supervising staff when needed.
The incumbent will manage inventory, ensure safety compliance, and provide mentorship to Clinical Laboratory Scientists and students, contributing to performance improvement and quality assurance throughout UVA Health’s lab
