Job description

Build challenging, real-world mobile engineering environments that help advance next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on creating tasks that evaluate an AI model''s ability to diagnose, build, refactor, and optimize mobile applications.

Role Overview You will create reinforcement learning environments and reference solutions for complex mobile software engineering problems. Each assignment should provide high-quality, practical input that helps models learn, reason, and perform on real development work.

Key Responsibilities Create realistic, difficult mobile coding tasks using repositories you select.

Design problems involving subtle bug investigation, non-trivial feature development, application state and lifecycle management, code refactoring, and performance improvement.

Develop tasks for cross-platform applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, or Dart, iOS applications using Swift, or Android applications using Kotlin.

Define each problem, build a reproducible environment, and create deterministic verifiers that accept valid solutions while rejecting incorrect, incomplete, or hard-coded approaches.

Provide a golden reference solution for every task.

Qualifications Significant hands-on expertise in at least one mobile development track: React Native with TypeScript or JavaScript, Flutter with Dart, iOS development with Swift and SwiftUI or UIKit, or Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose or the Android View system.

Strong Kotlin, Swift, and mobile development skills.

Deep understanding of mobile architecture, state management, asynchronous programming, and application lifecycle.

Demonstrated ability to debug complex mobile applications, resolve defects, and deliver meaningful performance improvements.

Work Terms Remote independent contractor engagement.

Expected commitment is approximately 15 hours per week.

Minimum weekly task-submission requirements apply and will be provided during onboarding.

Roles are typically filled within 48 hours. Selected candidates should be ready to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after onboarding is complete.

Compensation Compensation is listed at $50 to $100 per hour. Payment is output-based, with compensation issued for each task that meets project specifications; completion time may vary based on experience and workflow.

Application Process Apply using email or an available third-party sign-in option. By continuing an application, candidates acknowledge the applicable candidate terms and privacy policy.
