Role
Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) responsible for scientific engagement and strategic medical activities across the Central U.S. for a specialty vaccine company.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include developing territory-specific medical strategies, establishing peer relationships with infectious disease experts, providing scientific exchanges on vaccine efficacy, safety, and epidemiology, supporting research collaborations, and serving as a scientific resource on regional disease landscape. The role involves facilitating compliant medical education initiatives, capturing external insights to inform internal strategies, and maintaining current knowledge of infectious disease trends and vaccine policies.
Requirements
Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.) with 5+ years in medical affairs, vaccines, infectious diseases, or related fields; 3+ years of field medical/MSL experience preferred; demonstrated success managing complex stakeholder networks and discussing clinical evidence with experts.
High Value
vaccines (including chikungunya, Japanese encephalitis, Zika, Lyme disease), infectious diseases, epidemiology, travel medicine, public health, regional medical strategy, cross-functional collaboration, extensive travel within the Eastern U.S. and residence near major airports.
