Robert Half Technology is partnering with a rapidly growing local organization to hire a Sr. Network Engineer . This senior-level role sits at the intersection of systems and network engineering, requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-domain issues. The position offers a long-term path toward a Solutions Engineer role focused on design and strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design secure, scalable network solutions across the enterprise
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to implement network hardware/software/services
Diagnose and resolve performance and reliability issues
Evaluate, test, and implement advanced network technologies
Mentor junior network admins/engineers
Develop strategies for integrating acquisitions into a standard network stack
Align solutions with current and future business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in CS/IT or equivalent experience
5+ years in network engineering
Expertise: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, QoS; LAN/WAN/WLAN; SD-WAN
Security: firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, access controls
Cloud networking (Azure preferred; understand all Azure traffic routes through the firewall)
DR/BCP proficiency
Tools/Stack: Juniper, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto (Panorama, Prisma Access), Meraki (preferred), VeloCloud (plus)
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Position Details
Compensation: $160K to $220K + Bonus
