Job description
American Electric Power (AEP) seeks a Senior Counsel or Assistant General Counsel (Nuclear) to lead legal strategy on nuclear regulatory matters. The role covers licensing, permitting, and construction oversight for the Cook Nuclear Plant and potential SMR projects, with collaboration across regulatory teams and operations.
Ideal candidate will have extensive nuclear law experience, active bar admission in OH or MI, and the ability to manage complex legal matters for a major electric utility.
