Purple DriveSenior NX CAM ProgrammerShare Raynham, MA PDT - 11823Overview:Role Descriptions: Must Have Technical/Functional SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawingsUnderstanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards5+ years of hand on experience in NX CAM programmingExperience in working for Medical Devices is preferredRoles & ResponsibilitiesDeveloping CNC machining programs: Utilizing Siemens NX software to create toolpaths and optimize machining processesInterpreting technical drawings: Analyzing job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to select appropriate machine tools and tooling.Working closely with engineers and machinists to produce high-quality parts while minimizing waste and machining time.Monitoring machining activities to ensure cycle time matches with CAM programming and optimizing CNC programs for various machining operations.Collaborate with stakeholders regularly for status updates and technical discussions, issue mitigationPrepare protocols and reports as per the procedureEngineering Change ManagementAbility to utilize analytical skills for strategy decision makingAbility to learn concepts rapidly and enhance performance by applying these to job situations
