At Commure, our mission is to simplify healthcare. We have bold ambitions to reimagine the healthcare experience, setting a new standard for how care is delivered and experienced across the industry. Our growing suite of AI solutions spans ambient AI clinical documentation, provider copilots, autonomous coding, revenue cycle management and more — all designed for providers & administrators to focus on what matters most: providing care.

Healthcare is a $4.5 trillion industry with more than $500 billion spent annually on administrative costs, and Commure is at the heart of transforming it. We power over 500,000 clinicians across hundreds of care sites nationwide – more than $10 billion flows through our systems and we support over 100 million patient interactions. With new product launches on the horizon, expansion into additional care segments, and a bold vision to tackle healthcare's most pressing challenges, our ambition is to move from upstart innovator to the industry standard over the next few years.

Commure was recently named to Fortune’s Future 50 list for 2025 and is backed by world-class investors including General Catalyst, Sequoia, Y Combinator, Lux, Human Capital, 8VC, Greenoaks Capital, Elad Gil, and more. Commure has achieved over 300% year-over-year growth for the past two years and this is only the beginning. Healthcare's moment for AI-powered transformation is here, and we're building the technology to power it. Come join us in shaping the future of healthcare.

About the Role

We’re looking for a builder - someone who loves solving hard operational problems with code, data, and product intuition. Part consultant, part product thinker, part data analyst, you’ll help us automate and scale traditionally manual workflows that underpin healthcare operations - from claim submissions to payment posting - using everything from SQL and APIs to LLMs.

This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and implementation. You’ll design, test, and operationalize automation across our stack, work hands‑on with Product, Engineering teams and our customers to map and rebuild their workflows, and create systems that scale. You’ll be accountable for outcomes - building the infrastructure, tools, and processes that let our teams and our clients move faster and smarter.

We want people who are excellent operators, strong problem solvers, and comfortable building from scratch.

At Commure, there are no speed limits in your growth. If you show ownership and deliver results, your responsibilities - and impact - will grow rapidly. We value people who move fast, think deeply, take pride in solid execution, and deliver results for our customers.

This full‑time position requires working 5 days a week in our Mountain View, CA office.

What You’ll Do

Own high‑impact processes : Take full ownership of key verticals or client workflows - from discovery to deployment - ensuring repeatability and measurable impact

Design and automate workflows : Use SQL, APIs, scripts, and emerging tools (including LLMs) to automate manual claim‑related workflows and improve scalability

Collaborate cross‑functionally : Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Account Management to influence roadmap priorities and scale successful solutions

Analyze and optimize : Build dashboards and reporting pipelines to monitor productivity, quality, and financial outcomes; identify bottlenecks and automate fixes

What You Bring

3+ years of experience in operations, consulting, or data‑heavy roles at a tech company or fast‑paced startup

Strong SQL fluency - comfortable querying, analyzing, and structuring data to drive insights and automation

Excellent problem‑solving and systems‑thinking skills; able to diagnose root causes and design scalable solutions

Proven ability to manage complex projects end‑to‑end, working autonomously in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments

Bonus: Experience in healthcare operations, claims, or billing systems

Bonus: Experience building or integrating workflows via APIs, Python, or web automation tools (Zapier, Retool, custom scripts, etc.)

Bonus: Built with LLMs, SQL apps or experience with data pipelines

Who You Are

A builder : You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, experimenting with tools, and creating structure where there is none

An operator : You know how to turn ambiguity into process and measure progress with data

A problem solver : You thrive on figuring out why things break and how to make them work better

A collaborator : You bridge gaps between technical and non‑technical teams and keep everyone aligned on outcomes

Entrepreneurial : You don’t wait for direction - you seek it, shape it, and deliver results

Commure is committed to creating and fostering a diverse team. We are open to all backgrounds and levels of experience, and believe that great people can always find a place. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to all applicants throughout the application process.
