Job description
KYOCERA SLD Laser, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Optical Engineer to design, analyze, prototype, and validate optical systems for advanced laser and LED products.
You will perform optical modeling and ray tracing, develop architectures that meet efficiency and beam quality targets, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability. Experience with Zemax, LightTools, CODE V is required, and familiarity with ITAR or defense programs is a plus.
