Job description

Baker Hughes is seeking an R&D Optical Engineer to lead the design, development and validation of optical and electro‑optical systems at the Skaneateles, NY facility. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability and quality throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in optical product design, strong experience with optical modeling, CCD/CMOS imaging, and hands‑on use of Code V or Zemax. Onsite work is expected in Skaneateles, NY.
