We are a solution provider for our customers, always striving to exceed expectations on innovation, quality, service, and speed to market.A career at Ya YA FOODS will offer you the opportunity to:Build a career, not just have a jobWork in a dynamic and high-growth company with very skilled professionalsBecome part of a teamwork focused cultureBe a part of an organization that supports your future growthResponsibilities:Lead the production team on multiple lines.Lead by example and train, develop, and inspire production team.Be instrumental in developing a high-performance team where all team members work coherently to "win" together.Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and directs set-up and adjustments of machines.Confer with shift leaders and coordinates production to ensure product is ready per customer requirements.Operate filler and downstream when required.Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.Develop plans for efficient use of material, machines, and labor.Responsible to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for the line.Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.Operating manufacturing equipment for packaging products, including daily maintenance and problem solvingAnticipate needs before they arise, while keeping focus on deliverables and what is needed for timely successThink systematically to help ensure everything makes sense and is in lock-stepNaturally prioritize and integrate complex inputsTogether with coworkers and global organization build up, maintain, and further develop the quality system and HACCP work at siteComply with GMPs, PPE, sanitation procedures, general housekeeping and food safety & food defense practices and proceduresUtilize process data, trend analysis and training to monitor, troubleshoot and respond to process conditions to optimize the Plant operationsCollect and test samples on different stages of the process and act based on the results when requiredOther duties as assignedRequirements:Secondary education or equivalent combination(s) of education, industry experience and training an assetHands on experience high volume manufacturing, preferably within the food and beverage fieldKnowledge of statistical calculations and applicationsBasic HACCP KnowledgeExcellent organization skills and abilities to make decisions on quality issuesMust have flexibility with the variety of work responsibilities availableAbility to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human bodyAbility to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)Ability to be mobile in accomplishing tasks and or moving from one worksite (up to 1-mile range) to another this could include but not be limited to in-plant departments, (Shipping - Receiving, Production, etc.)Acts as interim Supervisor as neededWhy Join UsWe believe that the key to creating and growing a successful business is by investing in our people—some of whom have been a part of our team for over 25-years.
