Senior Palantir Foundry Ontology Engineer at BairesDev
In this role, you'll design the Ontology layer behind business-critical Palantir Foundry applications, modeling entities, relationships, and decision pathways that other teams build on. Applying strong data engineering fundamentals alongside deep Foundry expertise, you'll ensure the Ontology accurately reflects the business logic it needs to support. This is your opportunity to specialize in one of the most impactful layers of the Foundry platform, working onsite with a collaborative team in Houston.
What You'll Do:
Design Ontology-based models capturing entity relationships and business logic.
Build data pipelines and integrations supporting the Ontology layer.
Write transform logic using Python to support modeling and data workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Ontology design accurately reflects business needs.
What we are looking for:
5+ years of experience in data engineering.
Strong expertise in Palantir Foundry, specifically Ontology design.
Proficiency in Python for transform logic and workflow integration.
Advanced SQL skills.
Willingness to work onsite in Houston.
Nice to have:
Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
Familiarity with data governance concepts.
Domain exposure in energy, oil and gas, or related industries.
