Since 1940, we've remained committed to creating better textiles—delivered seamlessly by experts who care.The Senior Payroll Administrator will own payroll processing for all US associates including the preparation, documentation, distribution and reconciliation of payroll and administration of the payroll system and will provide payroll guidance and act as a resource to the Payroll/Human Resources team.Key Responsibilities Include:Process Weekly, Bi-Weekly, and Monthly payroll for all US associates while effectively managing all payroll-related transactions including tax, benefits and individual adjustment details in Workday systemSolve complex problems which may require a new perspective on existing solutionsManage third party vendor relationships required for payroll processingExecute time and attendance processingContinuously improve existing payroll processes to strengthen efficiency, associate experience and reportingProcess associate compensation adjustments such as pay changes, tax changes, new hires, direct deposit changes, special payments, garnishments and liens in accordance with internal guidelines and legal regulations (both state and federal)Research, analyze and resolve payroll-related issues and communicate effectively with associates and stakeholders on issue resolutionPrepare or assist in the preparation of reports for government agencies, tax authorities, insurance companies, industry associations, and other units of the Company, as requiredEnsure process documentation is updated as new or changed processes are establishedMaintain the highest degree of confidentiality in protecting sensitive informationPerform other duties and special projects, as requestedQualifications Include:3+ years' experience owning all aspects of payroll processingWorkday experience strongly preferredCertified Payroll Professional preferredSolid U.S. payroll tax and wage and hour laws knowledgeAttention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, ability to take initiative, excellent time management and prioritization abilitiesStrong mathematical, analytical and technical skills; High proficiency with Excel (including V-lookup and pivot tables)Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines with accuracy and timelinessExcellent customer service skillsAssociates degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferredWhy Work at Standard Textile:Competitive pay with Career Growth OpportunitiesFull benefits — medical, dental, visionPaid Parental and Bereavement Leave401k plan with company match"Dress for Your Day" (business casual) Dress CodeDiscount on Standard Textile ProductsHybrid working environment, both onsite and remoteProudly, Standard Textile has earned a title of US Best Managed Company for the sixth year running, an honor awarded by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, celebrating the exceptional achievements of American private companies and their management teams.Standard Textile is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.Join us!
