Job description
Senior Payroll SpecialistPrimary role is to perform all activities necessary to process the company's biweekly payrolls, for multiple locations.Processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishmentsVerify accuracy of W-4 and Direct Deposit Consent forms into ADP Enterprise system, EV6 preferredProcess special payroll requirements such as FMLA/STD leave compensation, sales, commissions, incentives, overtime, gross ups, etc.Ensure time sheets and time clock approvals are received before processingCalculation of pay (new hires, terminations, retroactive adjustments, vacation)Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience running and reviewing pay detailPerform other projects and duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsAbility to use personal computer (Email, Word & Excel) to input data and process informationMust possess excellent communications and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task, demonstrate an understanding of payroll related conceptsAssociates preferred or equivalent training in specialty area; 5-7 years payroll experience with ADP Enterprise EV6Physical Demand Stationary Position - constantMove/Traverse - FrequentlyStationary Position/Seated- constantAscend/Descend - RarelyPosition Self/Stooping -RarelyCommunicate/Talking - constantCommunicate/Hearing- constantRepetitive Motions - FrequentlySalary Range $70,000-$85,000Matheson is an Equal Opportunity Employer that complies with the laws and regulations set forth under EEOC.
