Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Perception Engineer to join their innovative team. As a Senior Perception Engineer, you will be part of the Autonomous Systems Department supporting the perception and sensor integration teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Lead the design, development, and deployment of perception algorithms for LiDAR, radar, camera, and sensor fusion applications across autonomous platforms. Architect real-time C++ processing pipelines for object detection, classification, tracking, and sensor fusion in embedded environments. Define sensor selection criteria, integration standards, and validation processes for perception systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure perception outputs align with broader autonomy architecture. Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities. What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field; Master's preferred. 4-7 years of experience developing perception systems for autonomous vehicles or robotics platforms. Proficiency in C++ (C++11 or newer) and experience building production-grade Linux applications. Experience with LiDAR point cloud processing, automotive radar processing, image processing, or sensor fusion. Knowledge of Robot Operating System (ROS or ROS2) and messaging architectures like DDS.
