Job description
We are a large, growing Plumbing and HVAC Mechanical Contractor currently hiring for Plumbing Designer/Engineers. This is a permanent position with a great salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Work with our Engineering and Design teams on current and future plumbing drawings and engineering load calculations
Review and Design Plumbing systems within drawings provided by Architects and Owners
Build ISO and Fab Drawings
Work closely with Engineering, Design and BIM teams
Design layouts for cold/hot water, hydronic systems, rain water, grey water, and black water treatment systems, storm drains, boilers, gas, and other plumbing and mechanical systems
Coordinate with other internal teams and external trades in BIM Coordination meetings
Requirements:
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
EIT or PE License
LEED AP Certification
Plumbing Engineering and Design experience
Advanced knowledge of CA Plumbing Codes and ASPE requirements
Working experience for Plumbing/HVAC contractor and/or MEP Design Engineer firm
Large project experience working on Schools, Healthcare-OSHPD, high-rises, hotels, and/or airports
