Job description
The Senior Precast/Prestressed Structural Design Engineer leads complex precast and prestressed concrete designs from criteria review through calculations and drawings. Reporting to engineering leadership, this role sets engineering approaches, applies advanced structural judgment, reviews and approves design documents, and advises on non-standard conditions. The engineer represents Knife River in technical discussions, mentors junior engineers and drafters, and helps improve standards, tools, and processes to support safe, buildable, and cost-aware solutions.
