The CA FIE Special Security Operations Office protects the information of our customers by providing a secure environment that allows Sandia to deliver products and services that protect our nation's security. The CA FIE Special Security Operations Office is responsible for interpretation and oversight of security requirements, to include physical security, access controls, facility accreditation, incident investigation, and visitor control.

Substance abuse or illegal drug use, falsification of information, criminal activity, serious misconduct or other indicators of untrustworthiness can cause a clearance to be denied or terminated by the DOE, resulting in the inability to perform the duties assigned and subsequent termination of employment.
