Job description

Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a Senior IT Product & Delivery Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and continuous evolution of our SAP S/4HANA Core Finance platform. This high‑impact, AI‑intensive leadership role sits at the intersection of enterprise finance technology and innovative artificial intelligence. The role will drive the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, FICA, Treasury, and adjacent finance systems—embedding AI and machine learning capabilities to transform how Adobe’s finance organization operates.

What You’ll Do

S/4HANA Product Management Ownership: serve as the primary product owner for S/4HANA Finance components, including General Ledger (Universal Journal), Payables and Receivables, FICA with Contract Accounts and Collections/Dispute Management, Treasury & Cash Management, Revenue Recognition, Revenue Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting.

Drive configuration, extension build, and integration architecture decisions in collaboration with solution architects and SAP Basis teams.

Manage integration touchpoints with Kyriba, Blackline, Databricks, GEP, and custom microservices—ensuring data integrity and real‑time financial visibility.

Act as a change agent, driving organizational adoption of emerging technologies, and manage change‑management workstreams.

Collaborate with finance business owners, SAP, cloud vendors, and internal engineering to build trusted relationships.

Collaborator Engagement & Delivery Leadership

Partner closely with the Director of Global Accounting and Treasury leadership to align technology investments with finance transformation goals.

Write detailed product requirements, AI model cards, functional specifications, and user stories for engineering and design teams.

Facilitate agile ceremonies—sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews—while maintaining a clear line‑of‑sight from AI experiments to production deployments.

Build executive‑ready arguments quantifying return on investment, time‑to‑value, and risk for AI‑enabled initiatives.

Coordinate a cross‑functional pod of engineers, QA specialists, finance SMEs, and data engineers.

Product Strategy & Technology‑Informed Roadmap

Own and evolve the multi‑year product roadmap for S/4HANA’s central finance module, prioritizing AI‑first capabilities alongside foundational ERP improvements.

Define and champion an AI integration strategy spanning generative AI copilots, intelligent document processing, anomaly detection, and predictive close.

Find opportunities to embed SAP Business AI, Joule, and third‑party LLMs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI) into core finance workflows.

Conduct competitive analysis and stay current on SAP release cycles, AI advancements, and FinTech trends to continuously sharpen the roadmap.

AI Feature Delivery & Innovation

Lead delivery of AI‑powered capabilities such as automated GL account coding, journal entry validation, intelligent AP/AR matching, natural language querying of financial data via LLM‑powered interfaces, predictive cash‑flow forecasting, real‑time anomaly detection, and fraud prevention using ML pipelines.

Partner with Adobe’s AI/ML engineering teams and data scientists to design model training datasets, evaluate model performance, and define feedback loops for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with SAP and cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) to embed AI services within the S/4HANA digital platform.

Define responsible AI guardrails, bias mitigation frameworks, and explainable standards for all AI models embedded in finance workflows.

What You Need to Succeed

8+ years of experience in enterprise finance IT, with at least 7 years of hands‑on SAP S/4HANA or ECC Finance implementations.

Demonstrable experience delivering AI/ML‑powered features within ERP or finance platforms.

Expert‑level knowledge of S/4HANA Finance modules: GL (Universal Journal), AP, AR, FICA, RAR, Treasury, Asset Accounting.

Proven product management or IT delivery leadership track record—driving complex, multi‑stakeholder programs from concept to production.

Strong grasp of GAAP, IFRS 15, ASC 606, and subscription business financial models.

Experience in a high‑growth SaaS or technology company with subscription revenue models and solid understanding of SAP Order‑to‑Cash processes.

Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA analytics (Databricks, SAP Analytics Cloud), procurement (Ariba or GEP or Coupa), and cloud data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Build, or SAP Extension Suite for custom AI development.

Familiarity with timely engineering, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), and agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen).

Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, and GDPR/CCPA compliance for finance data managed by automated systems.

Hands‑on familiarity with at least one AI/ML toolchain: Azure OpenAI Service, Google Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker, SAP AI Core, or equivalent.

SAP S/4HANA Finance certification or SAP Activate methodology training.

Leadership & Soft Skills

Visionary communicator—able to translate AI/ML concepts and technical architecture to senior leadership, controllers, and board‑level audiences.

Strategic operator—comfortable navigating ambiguity, building consensus, and accelerating decisions in a matrixed environment.

Talent multiplier—experience mentoring finance technologists and encouraging a culture of continuous learning and AI literacy.
