Skills

–Product Manager, Product Management, Agile, Scrum, Communication

My client is presently looking to onboard an ambitious and proactive Project Manager for what will be an initial 4 month contract with likely extensions.

This is a largely remote role with a hybrid 1-2 day in-office presence required at my client’s offices in Dallas, TX.

The Product Manager is responsible for leading the product development efforts that will solve critical pain points for both customers and associates. You’ll need to deeply understand the organization's business model, how their assigned products impact the day-to-day operations, and work with functional leaders to identify opportunities to evolve, transform, and optimize both.

The Product Manager has the unique responsibility to span multiple functional areas of the company to ensure the technology provides the right level of support for successful business operations. This includes leasing, marketing, maintenance, legal, compliance, investments and accounting.

You’ll provide leadership to product development teams in order to build the right solution at the right time while balancing cost, risk, speed, intuition, and future need.

The Role

Lead customer-facing AI strategy initiatives, including AI vendor proof-of-concept (POC) execution and definition of implementation requirements for new AI-enabled solutions.

Establish and constantly foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure clear and direct communication

Build consensus among cross-functional stakeholders to optimize experiences for customers and create efficiencies for associates

Partner with engineering leads to gain a strong understanding of the technology integrations that enable the product capabilities within their domain

Partner with internal stakeholders to establish strong working knowledge of the operational processes in the IH landscape that may be impacted with each new product development effort

Partner with the UX Research, Digital Experimentation and Data Analytics teams to collect user insights

Effectively manage the scope of approved efforts, mitigate delivery risks where possible, and negotiate delivery trade-offs as needed when priorities change

Partner with 3rd party vendors where appropriate to commission, prioritize and manage delivery efforts

Partner with legal, risk, and security teams to ensure compliance-related items meet established standards

The Candidate

5+ years of experience in a product owner/product manager role

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred

Experience in real estate, travel, or retail preferred

Experience being the owner of one or more digital products, with a proven track record of success

Strong experience with Agile/Scrum software delivery

Experience implementing AI-enabled solutions or platforms within a business or technology environment

Ability to communicate complex information in simple terms to a wide variety of audiences

Strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively

Ability to lead projects across multiple teams and stakeholders through organization, collaboration, and charisma

Excellent teamwork skills; strong ability to motivate engineering teams and foster creativity
