Job description

Xpanner is redefining construction by empowering the people who build our world. We retrofit heavy machinery with easy-to-use software and Physical AI, tackling critical safety and productivity challenges on the ground. Through our subscription-based automation model (AaaS), we deliver task-specific, field-ready solutions that immediately maximize jobsite efficiency without massive upfront hardware costs. Backed by top-tier global venture capital and optimized by the industry's largest physical dataset, we are actively transforming renewable energy and infrastructure projects today. We don't just build abstract concepts- we put real, practical solutions to work in the field.

About the Team

The Software & Data Platform team builds the foundational customer-facing software layer- including Xpanner Connect that connects machine automation, jobsite workflows, and real-time field execution to deliver actionable insights, progress tracking, and measurable productivity to our customers.

What You'll Do

How you'll make impact:

You will serve as the critical layer turning machine automation and raw field activity into customer value by owning software discovery, product definition, and roadmap execution for Xpanner Connect and job site software products

Core Responsibilities:

Lead customer workflow discovery across EPCs, construction companies, operators, and field teams to translate real-world jobsite pain points into actionable PRDs, user stories, and strategic roadmap items.

Drive end-to-end product ownership for Xpanner Connect, defining features across jobsite dashboards, map-based progress views, machine data visualization, production tracking, alerts, and admin workflows.

Define machine data capture, data structures, event tracking, and customer-facing reporting metrics in close collaboration with hardware, cloud, and engineering teams.

Manage the complete software delivery lifecycle from discovery and design through QA, field testing, release coordination, and post-launch iteration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams- including software and data engineers, designers, hardware PMs, sales, and field operations to align technical feasibility with commercial impact.

Enable commercial growth and customer success through product demos, ROI articulation, user feedback loops, and input on software packaging and monetization.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years in B2B software/platform/SaaS product management with exposure to industrial/field operations software

Demonstrated ownership of full product lifecycle from ideation to launch

Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills across technical teams and non-technical customers.

Proven track record translating complex customer workflows and data into user stories, PRDs, dashboards, and scalable product features.

Willingness to visit jobsites and field operations to deeply understand end-user workflows

Founder's mentality: Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable building processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient knowledge of heavy equipment GPS systems, telematics, IoT devices, robotics, or geospatial software.

Hands-on experience with product analytics and design tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, SQL, APIs, data visualization tools) and building multi-user enterprise permission/admin models.

Why You'll Love It Here

Join a fast-growing company helping modernize one of the world's largest industries through construction automation and intelligent equipment technology.

Be a foundational member of a lean, rapidly growing Product Management team where your decisions will directly shape our software roadmap and have an outsized impact on the construction industry

Work alongside cross-functional teams across operations, field support, R&D, engineering, design, and leadership

Competitive salary, performance incentives, retirement plan, and flexible work environment.
