Senior Product Marketing Manager, Electrophysiology
Job is located in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities
Help achieve revenue, profit and margin targets for the EP franchise in the United States.
Create launch messaging, targeting, pricing, promotion and translations for Go-To-Market business plans for the U.S.
Serve as key finance liaison with focus on sales forecasts, plan numbers and quantity purchase program strategy and execution.
Engage with KOLs and top accounts to drive preference toward Abbott EP products.
Facilitate product lifecycle management of U.S. products and updates as needed.
Create local launch reporting including metrics and target goal achievement.
Maintain problem‑solving and collaborative relationship with Marketing and Sales leadership measured by 360 feedback and observation from Director of U.S. EP Marketing.
Support IDN‑GPO acceptance and approval strategies, contract analysis and positioning strategies.
Explore and implement additional solutions to help drive strategic focus for EP team.
Partner with third parties to align with business needs and elevate EP offerings and position Abbott EP as the primary solution for EP needs.
Conduct product overviews for physicians and regional sales teams.
Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors and vendors.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes and task assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 7+ years’ experience working in healthcare, life sciences or technology‑based products.
Experience working with complex product portfolios in the medical device industry.
Experience with strategic product planning and commercial execution.
Developed leadership skills/experience, including the ability to map task interdependencies, prioritize such tasks, and develop, monitor and live within budgets as well as the demonstrated ability to forecast major milestones.
Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross‑division business unit model preferred.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
Understanding of both the technology and capabilities of the Division’s products, market and customer dynamics, and functional operations across departments.
Positive attitude, leadership, desire and ability to lead the organization to ensure goals achievement, deep understanding of the complexities of market and customer needs, ability to develop, rationalize and present strategy, strong analytical and computer skills, working knowledge of financial models, strong work ethic, self‑motivation and resourcefulness.
Ability to travel up to 15%, including internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA.
5+ years of direct medical device marketing experience.
Prior mapping and/or sales experience.
Upstream marketing experience is a huge plus.
Compensation
The base pay for this position is $113,300.00 – $226,700.00. In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
