Job Summary

The Senior Production Analyst is responsible for analyzing, validating, reconciling, and reporting natural gas, NGL, condensate, and water production data. This position supports accurate production accounting records, regulatory reporting, operational analysis, and cross-functional decision-making by ensuring production volumes and related data are complete, timely, and reliable.

This role requires advanced knowledge of production accounting processes, gas measurement, volumetric reconciliation, and production reporting systems. Works under general direction, serves as a senior technical resource for production data analysis, and supports the Supervisor Production Accounting in process improvement, issue resolution, and team mentoring and guidance.

Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture.

Responsibilities

Analyze, validate, and reconcile daily, monthly, and annual production volumes for natural gas, NGLs, condensate, and water.

Review field measurement data, meter readings, SCADA data, purchaser statements, and sales records to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare and submit accurate production reports and supporting documentation in accordance with internal deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Support state agency reporting, RRC filings, and other production-related compliance submissions.

Partner with Operations, Measurement, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure production data supports operational reporting, revenue processes, and business analysis.

Research and resolve production volume variances, allocation issues, and gas balancing discrepancies.

Develop and maintain production accounting reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and analytical tools to improve visibility and data quality.

Assist with production data setup, master data maintenance, system testing, and process documentation.

Provide technical guidance and support to production accounting team members on complex data issues and reconciliation processes.

Support audits, acquisitions, divestitures, and special projects by compiling production data, reconciliations, and analysis.

Identify opportunities to improve production accounting processes, controls, reporting accuracy, and workflow efficiency.

Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills

Advanced knowledge of oil and gas production accounting principles, field measurement data, volumetric reconciliation, and production reporting.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to research complex data discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

Understanding of oil and gas regulatory reporting requirements including Texas RRC and other applicable state agency filings.

Experience with production accounting software and data management systems such as Quorum, P2, Enertia, or similar systems.

Ability to analyze large volumes of production data, develop reconciliations, and produce accurate reports under deadline-driven conditions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and job-related applications. Uses insights from digital tools to improve production data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and workflow effectiveness.

Demonstrated interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to explain production data issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and provide guidance to others as a senior technical resource.

Education & Experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field required. Commensurate work experience considered.

Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of oil and gas production accounting, production analysis, measurement, or related upstream operations experience.

Experience performing production data reconciliations, variance analysis, regulatory reporting support, and cross-functional issue resolution required.

Preferred

Experience with gas balancing, allocations, production systems implementation, dashboard development, or advanced data analytics preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Location

Barnett Field / Fort Worth Basin – BKV Fort Worth, Texas office.

Working Conditions

Primarily office-based role with occasional field, operations, or asset team support as business needs require.

Must be able to meet month-end, regulatory, and project deadlines.
