Job TitleRetread Technician, Tire Retreader, Tire Builder, The Vulcanizing Technician, Commercial Tire Technician, Industrial Tire Technician, Construction, Laborer, Landscaper, Tow Truck, Heavy Duty Tire TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a member of our retread team, you will play a role in recapping, remolding, or in other words, extending the life of an existing tire to get it back on the road! In our retread plants you will have the opportunity to support the retread process through various stages:Inspect the tires to assess if they can be retreadBuff the casing to remove any worn treadRemove embedded objects, rust, and repair the tire casingUsing rubber cement or a patch, repair the casing before applying new treadBuilding the tire by applying new treadCuring the tire to mold the retread applicationFinal Inspection to assess a safe and quality productCompensation and BenefitsStarting Pay:$30.00 - $35.00 Hourly + Weekly PayOT Opportunities + Full Benefits + Weekly PayWork ScheduleShift: Monday - Friday (Scheduled) Flexible Start Time Between 3AM - 6 AMSome Saturday Work Rotating Weekends May Be Required Based On Business DemandsLocation8515 N Columbia Blvd, Portland ORBasic RequirementsCandidates must be at least 18 years of age.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.Basic Computer SkillsPreferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience in manufacturing environment/ General Labor/ Entry LevelAbout UsWe are a service and retreading market leader with over 200 Commercial Tire Centers and Truck Care Centers located across the United States.
